Governor-elect Corzine’s staff approached Country Club Services in the fall of 2005. They needed a parking and transportation company that could handle the 2006 Inaugural Ball and the 3000+ guests they expected to attend. The ball was slated for Jadwin Gym on the campus of historic Princeton University—a charming setting, but lacking sufficient parking to support the expected number of guests. CCS worked closely with the Corzine staff during the months leading up to the celebration. We identified a nearby remote parking lot that was easy to find and easily accessible for attendees from throughout the state. We developed a strategy and arranged for buses to transport guests to the ball. We also planned and managed a private shuttle area for the hundreds of limousines that would converge on Jadwin Gym to bring and later pick-up their passengers. And for dignitaries and other special guests, we managed a 500 car VIP lot. The end result was a smooth operation and a satisfied Governor’s staff.
